Ronald M. Waldeck, 75, Green Co., KY (1944-2019) Mr. Ronald M. Waldeck of Prospect, Kentucky (also of Green County) passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019. He was 75 years old. A memorial visitation will be conducted from 3pmCT until 6pmCT on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY. Ronald M. Waldeck, the son of the late Wilburn Waldeck and Anna Moody Waldeck, was born on Tuesday, January 11, 1944 in Jefferson County, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville. Ron was a graduate of Manual High School and received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville Speed Scientific School. He was employed by Ford Motor Company and All State Ford prior to retiring from Heritage Ford in 2016. Survived by his wife: Sharry Judd Waldeck of Prospect, also of Green County; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Jason and Melissa Waldeck, and Keith Waldeck; a daughter and son-in-law: Susan and Danny Smith; grandchildren: Jenna and Carsten Waldeck, Cooper and Edyn Smith; a sister: Frances Simons; and a nephew: Mark Simons; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Waldeck was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Howard Simons. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Wendy Novak Diabetes Care Fund at Norton Children's Hospital, which can be made at the funeral home. Ratterman and Brothers Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Rd, Louisville is in charge of Louisville arrangements. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
