Donald Reed Poland, 73, Jamestown, KY (1945-2019) Donald Reed Poland of Jamestown, KY and formerly of Scottsville, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at his residence. He was 73 years old. The funeral service will be held at 2pmCT on Friday, April 5, 2019, at Goad Funeral Home, 215 W Main St, Scottsville, KY, with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. The Tompkinsville, KY native was a farmer and former employee of Cutler Hammer. He was born on September 11, 1945, a son of the late Reed Marrs Poland and Ruth Hays Poland. He is survived by 2 sons: Philanie Poland and wife, Rosalie, Jamestown, KY and Chad Poland and fiancee, Monica Gentry, Jacksonville, AR; 2 brothers: Bobby Poland and wife, Kim, Scottsville, KY; Gary Poland (Charles George), Palm Beach Gardens, FL; 2 sisters: Caroline Bunch and husband, Norman, Bowling Green, KY and Ann Crowe and husband, Richard, Murfreesboro, TN; A sister-in-law: Tina Poland, Scottsville, KY; 1 granddaughter: Tori-Beth Poland.
