Metcalfe 4-H Shooting Sports program receives donation

Southern Kentucky Quail Forever(R) recently donated $1,000 to the Metcalfe County 4-H Shooting Sports program. This is the third year they have supported the local program.

The shooting sports program has shooters ranging from 8 years old (as of January 1) to 18 years of age participating in the program.



President of local Southern Kentucky Quail Forever(R) organization, Joe Ed McDonald, made the check presentation to Carson Brown, the current president of the local shooting sports club. Quail Forever is dedicated to the quail, pheasant and other wildlife improvements.
