Paul Womack, 88, Russell Springs, KY (1930-2019)

He served in the U.S. Army. He was a Land Surveyor.

Paul Womack of Russell Springs, KY passed away Saturday, March 23nd, at VAMC, Lexington, Fayette County. He was 88 years old.

A religious service will be held at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main St., Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, with Bro. John Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Clear Springs Cemetery Russell Springs, KY with Military Honors by Russell County Honor Squad.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 11amCT until the time of service at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel.


Paul was born in Columbia, KY on May 21, 1930, a son of the late Effie (Bottom) and Luther Womack.

He served in the U.S. Army. He was a Land Surveyor

Paul is survived by:
  • Three daughters, Janet (Ensley,JR) Wright, of Bowling Green, KY; Pauletta Womack, of Russell Springs, KY; and Susan (Danny) Stephens, of Russell Springs, KY
  • A son,Randy Womack, of Russell Springs, KY
  • A brother, Garnett Womack, of Columbia, KY
  • Six grandchildren
  • Ten great grandchildren and
  • Two great great grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Meredith Brown Womack, son David Womack, brother Charles Womack and a sister Norma Ivaskewitz
