TheatreFest! Announces second summer of IMAGINE! Youth Theatre TheatreFest! the Summer Theatre hosted at Lindsey Wilson College each year will hold a day camp known as IMAGINE! Youth Theatre starting Tuesday, June 4 through Thursday July 18, culminating in four performances of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer based on the novel by Mark Twain, adapted by Ken Ludwig, with music and Lyrics by Don Schiltz. IMAGINE! Youth Theatre will run Tuesday, June 4, 2019 through Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 8amCT until NoonCT each day in V.P Henry Auditorium meeting each week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. "Our first production was an immense success and had the kids beaming with excitement for the next show" says Associate Artistic Director Jeremy Cloyd. "I can't begin to say how excited I am to spend another summer creating theatre with the youth of this area!" IMAGINE! Youth Theatre will produce a play this summer alongside the regular season. IMAGINE! Will be a day camp of action packed instruction in acting, movement, and voice culminating this year in four performances of a musical adaptation of Mark Twain's classic story of Tom Sawyer. "The kids should be excited" says Artistic Director Robert Brock. "This is a great story with great music. I think they're going to have a great time and I know our interns are excited to work with them" The camp is set to produce the Mark Twain classic The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.
