Carrie Alice Dillingham, 72, Columbia, KY (1946-2019)

Carrie Alice Dillingham of Columbia died Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Taylor Co. Regional Hospital. She was 72 years old.

Mrs. Dillingham chose cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.


Born August 12, 1946, in Adair County she was the daughter of the late John H. and Dorothy Bailey Beard and wife of the late Donald Dean Dillingham.

Mrs. Dillingham was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include
  • Two children, Anna Montgomery (James) of New Albany, IN and James Dillingham (Darlene) of Port Richey, FL
  • Two grandchildren, Archie and R. C. Montgomery
  • Five step-grandchildren
  • Nine step-great grandchildren
  • Two brothers, James Beard of Louisville and Bobby Beard of Alabama
  • A sister, Peggy Nix of Louisville, KY
