Joyce Furkins, 73, Adair County, KY (1946-2019) She was a native of Adair County, a daughter of Leaper and Beatrice Jessee Hagan. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. Her husband Billy Fred survives. Joyce Furkins, 73, of Columbia, died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 1pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia. Burial will follow in the Columbia Cemetery. Visitation is after 4pmCT Tuesday. Casket Bearers will be Donovan Furkins, Eldon Furkins, Blake Helm, Tommy Oller, Tyler Compton and Raymond Compton. She was born January 12, 1946 in Adair County to the late Leaper & Beatrice Jessee Hagan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Hagan, and one sister, Betty Keltner. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Survivors Include: Her Husband - Billy Fred Furkins of Columbia Two Sons - Anthony Dwayne Furkins & his wife Amanda, Billy Todd Furkins & his wife Linae all of Columbia Six Grandchildren - Donovan Lee Furkins, Eldon Lane Furkins, Charles Kylan Furkins, Holland Lee Furkins, Nicholas Alexander Furkins & Serenity LeeAnn Furkins Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
