Tony Tucker, 75, Green County, KY (1944-2019)

He worked in maintenance for the Green County High School. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Trammell Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wilma Sue Mings Tucker.

Anthony Stephen "Tony" Tucker of Greensburg, KY departed this life on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Greensburg. He was 75 years, and 27 days of age.

There will be a memorial visitation held from 3-8pmCT Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.



He was the son of the late Garnett A. Tucker and Media Iona Davis Tucker, born on Thursday, January 20, 1944 in Green County.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Trammell Creek Baptist Church. He also worked in maintenance for the Green County High School.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wilma Sue Mings Tucker of Greensburg having united in marriage on May 20, 1962.

Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law - Wade and Amy Lea Tucker, Todd and Sara Tucker all of Greensburg, and Chad and Jennifer Tucker of Campbellsville; a daughter - Toni Rena Tucker of Louisville; six grandchildren: Brandon Tucker of Campbellsville, Cole Tucker of Richmond, Brandy Renee Watts of Louisville, Zoe Matthews, Ezra Cornett, and Gage Cornett all of Greensburg; two great-grandchildren - Grayson Tucker and Kannon Tucker both of Campbellsville; a brother and sister-in-law - Garnett (J.R.) and Bonnie Tucker of Louisville; four sisters and brothers-in-law - Goldena Shannon Padila of Florida, Boniva Joy Slinker of Greensburg, Cozella Mae and Danny Williams of Campbellsburg, Madonna Kay and Rex Slinker of LaGrange; sisters-in-law - Reva Nell Tucker of Greensburg and Hallie Holcomb of Louisville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Tucker was also preceded in death by two grandsons - James Anthony Tucker and Noah Chase Tucker; a brother: Talmedge Tucker.

The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
