Christine McCarthy Wesley, 67, Liberty, KY (1951-2019)

Chris was a customer service representative for nearly twenty years with Dominion Chain and for nearly ten years with NEAT Companies. Chris loved landscaping and working with her flowers.

Margaret Jane Christine "Chris" Wesley, of Liberty, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was 67 years old.

The funeral mass will be held at 11amET on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father George Otuma officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5pmET until 8pmET on Friday, February 8, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7pmET at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home on Friday evening.


Born on October 25, 1951, in Ontario, Canada, she was a daughter of the late James and Thresa Clarence McCarthy. Chris was a customer service representative for nearly twenty years with Dominion Chain and for nearly ten years with NEAT Companies. Chris loved landscaping and working with her flowers.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Wesley, who she wed on March 11, 2008; a son, Don McGillis of Ontario, Canada; two step-sons, Tony (and Jill) Wesley of Stanford and Wayne (and Vicki) Wesley of Junction City; three sisters, Gwen Johnston of Peterboro, Ontario, Pauline O'hearn of Peterboro, Ontario and Kate (and Jim) Locks of Keene, Ontario; and a brother, Jim (and Carolyn) McCarthy of Brampton, Ontario.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Smith; and two brothers, Ted McCarthy and Don McCarthy.
