Rainy and mid-40's today, much colder weather coming It's currently 39F at the Adair County Mesonet station. Expect rain today, mainly after 9amCT, with a high near 46F. South wind 6 to 9 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible. Rain will continue tonight, mainly before 1am. Low around 38F. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. On Friday, it should be mostly cloudy, with a high near 45F, and northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the morning. Over the weekend, a low pressure system will bring periods of heavy rain, which could lead to flooding of creeks and streams.
