Gradith Dwight Stephens, 85, of Russell Springs, died Sunday, December 23, 2018 while in the Phillipines.

Funeral service for Gradith Stephens will be 11:30amCT/12:30pmET Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Mill Springs National Cemetery with full military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard. There will be a Celebration of Life at the First Baptist Church in Russell Springs from 4-7pmCT on Friday, January 18, 2019 Officiating clergy will be Bro. Ryan Coffey. There will be a family gathering from 4-7pmCT Friday at the Russell Springs First Baptist Church.



He was born August 20, 1933 in Russell County to the late Ottis G. & Ruth Bennett Stephens.

He was a Veteran of US Navy and a Real Estate Broker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby Stephens and 2 sisters, Wilma Dean, Joyce Faye.

Survivors include

His wife: Joy Stephens, Russell Springs

3 children: Tonya (Bob) Capra, Chicago, IL; Jarita Stephens, Louisville, Ky; Richie (Mitzi) Stephens, Russell Springs

3 grandchildren: Sarah Capra, Kristen & Kayla Stephens

1 brother: Kennith (Darlene) Stephens, Russell Springs.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, is in charge of arrangements
