New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible. This rainfall could result in localized flooding and rises on area creeks and streams. Showers remain likely tonight, mainly before 10pmCT. Cloudy, with a low around 45F. Southwest wind 13 to 18 mph becoming west 6 to 11 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. New Year's Day should bring a chance of drizzle, and just slightly cooler temperatures.
