Ursula K. Finegan, 80, Cane Valley, KY (1938-2018)

She was a homemaker, wife, mother, and friend, and instilled her legacy and Christian values in her children.

Mrs. Ursula K. Finegan of the Cane Valley community of Adair County, passed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2018 after an illness.

Cremation rites were accorded her by the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Campbellsville, KY. There will be a memorial service held to honor her life at her home on a later date.


Born on November 16, 1938, in Bremen, Germany to the late Fredrick and Eleanora (Wollman) Krueger, she was 80 years, 1 month, and 3 days of age. She was a homemaker, wife, mother, and friend, and instilled her legacy and Christian values in her children. She enjoyed reading, especially things of solid moral value, and raising a garden and flowers.

She leaves to cherish her memory:
  • Five children: Jimmy Ray Finegan and wife Cindy of Washington, Robert Lee Finegan and wife Shawna of Tennessee, Bilinda Lines and husband Jimmy of Cane Valley, Angelica Ann Melton and husband Shane of Georgia, and Regina Eleanora Harshaw and husband Chris of Tennessee,
  • Two siblings: Gisela Grother and Garett Vondenberg, both of Germany,
  • Nineteen grandchildren,
  • Ten great-grandchildren,
  • Her furry friends: Pepper and Dexter,
  • And a host of other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rayvel George Finegan, and a son, Roy "Norm" Finegan.
