C.W. Goff, 72, Green County, KY (1946-2018)

He was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher. He was a retired Salesman for Hubbard Feed Company, and was President of the Green County Gideon Camp.

C.W. Goff of Greensburg, KY departed this life on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Baptist Health in Louisville. He was 72 years, two months, and eight days of age.

The funeral services will be at 12noonCT Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Greensburg Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. Bro. Blake Jessie, Bro. Todd Young, Randy Milby, and Carol Miller officiating. Visitation is requested from 1-8pmCT Tuesday at the Greensburg Baptist Church and after 7amCT Wednesday at the church until the funeral service.

Pallbearers - Jerry Cowherd, Randy Milby, R.T. Marr, Jack Gupton, Russ Goff, Larry Wisdom. Honorary Pallbearers - Gideon Members and Gideon Auxiliary Members, Discovery-Mens II Sunday School Class.



He was the son of the late Carl William Goff, Sr. and Virginia Crump Goff, born on Monday, October 7, 1946 in Green County.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and a Sunday School Teacher. He was a retired Salesman for Hubbard Feed Company, and was President of the Green County Gideon Camp.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sandra Smith Goff of Greensburg, having united in marriage on June 10, 1967.

Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Correy Adam and Tasha Goff of Greensburg; three grandchildren, Carl Hayden Goff, John William "Cage" Goff, and Dixie Nicole Journey Goff all of Greensburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Robin Goff of Summersville; a sister and brother-in-law, Marlis and Pat Dinning of Arizona; and a host of other relatives and many friends.

C.W. was also preceded in death by two grandsons: Myles Lee Goff and Ryder Adam Goff on April 19, 2017.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the church or funeral home.

The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
