Willisburg Lake is in Washington County, KY

Near the little town of Willisburg in Washington County, KY, the Willisburg Lake called out to me as it reflected the brilliant sunshine of Saturday afternoon.

Owned by City of Willisburg, it offers a marina, boat dock and campground. We'll have to let those who do the fishing tell us what type fish can be caught there.

Willisburg Lake was looking good in the full sunshine of Saturday, November 24, 2018. It is owned by City of Willisburg in Washington County, KY. We discovered it in travels between home base, Columbia, KY, and grandkids central Shelbyville, KY.

Cattails are blooming by Willisburg Lake

Cattails were the only blossoms I could find at the stop beside Willisburg Lake in Washington County over the weekend. If there hadn't been an abundance of Thanksgiving food, it's good to know the Cattail is an edible survival food. - LW
