Michael Hughes, 68, Russell Springs, KY (1950-2018)

Michael Hughes of Russell Springs, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018. He was 68 years old.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 10amCT till 2pmCT at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 E. Steve Wariner Dr., Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral services will be at 2pmCT, Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Jason Scott Bolin officiating. Interment will follow in the Russell Springs City Cemetery, Lakeway Drive, Russell Springs, KY.


He was the owner of Mike's Pools.

He was born on Saturday April 08, 1950 in Russell County, Kentucky, the son of Reverend Lillie Francis Hughes of Russell Springs, KY, and the late Leslie Ray Hughes.

He is survived by
  • His wife, Linda Jasper Hughes, of Russell Springs, Kentucky
  • A daughter, Ann Michelle Bolin, of Bowling Green, Kentucky (Spouse: Jason Scott)
  • A son, Timothy Michael Hughes, of Russell Springs, Kentucky (Spouse: Tishanna Sullivan)
  • A brother, Danny Hughes, of Russell Springs, Kentucky
  • His grandchildren, Jaci Grace Bolin, Jannah Hope Bolin, Abigail Faith Bolin, Amelia Charity Bolin and Lizah-Ann Christine Hughes
  • Several nieces and nephews
Pallbearers are: Gary Jasper, Scott Jasper, Roger Jasper, Jason Hughes, David Breeding, Rick Wimmer, Coty Roy.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to take the form of a contribution to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
