Adair County showcased in Rep. Whitfield's Washington Office

By Ellen Zornes, Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce, Vice-President
from Chamber Insights, July 2015

We wish to thank Congressman Ed Whitfield and his Washington D.C. staff for inviting Adair County to be the spotlighted county for the month of August in his Washington, DC office.

A display of unique Adair County items and a picture collection was put together and mailed to Washington. The congressman sponsors these monthly spotlights of the counties he represents because it provides a great opportunity for their guests, both from Kentucky and elsewhere, to experience our unique area and will possibly inspire a visit as well.

We feel that the display well represents the essence of Adair County and hope that those visiting Congressman Whitfield's office will appreciate the beauty and pride we feel for our home . . . Adair County.
