Closeness came unmarked

and all was newly seen and yet unknown
if future would become dull grown routine
or spirited adventures limits flown.
A sharing often of some food, some talk,
some being at events they both enjoyed
and closeness came unmarked with every walk
until the roughs were barriers destroyed.
A muchness of togetherness at last
revealed the sorely lacking love in like
but still remembrance of the joys now past
hold out the hope redeeming blast will strike.
With some, suggestion is the way to lead
and bold direction never will succeed.
