Epicurean Kentuckian: Pizza so good it almost makes me weep

Food critic Tami Wilson, of Columbia, KY, and San Francisco, CA, has recently been checking the restaurant scene in Lexington, KY and files this Sunday morning, 3:05 amCT report on what's she found there:

Happy Sunday! So far, in Lexington, one of my favorite spots is Jalepeno's Mexican food, and another is Ramsey's Diner.

And if anyone has experienced NYC style pizza, or would like to, a hole-in-the-wall joint called "Good Fellas" is so good, I could swear I'm back in New York!!

For what it's worth, it is a hole in the wall. A standing-room-only or take-out place, which serves pizza by the slice. So good it nearly makes me weep.

The locations are for just in case you are as hungry for the pizza as I was at 3:00amCT this morning. I probably won't go today. Monroe County, Monticello, and Hart County are about my outer limits for impulse eating today. Time was, when Charles Kuralt would report on bagels on Reading Road in Cincinnati, we'd take the whole family and go. -EW
