ACFD has busy weekend: Fires on Friday, Sunday, Monday

It was a busy weekend for fires in Adair County. The Adair County Fire Departmentt responded to the following fires over the weekend:
- HEATER FIRE, Monday morning, May 18, 2009, at 12:17amCT to a fire in a residence at 66 Wheet Road, Columbia, KY to property owned by Randy Murray of Columbia. The fire was contained to a heater. There were 14 firemen on the scene for around 15 minutes.
- TRUCK FIRE ON LBN, Sunday, May 18, 2009, at 1:28pmCT: Truck fire at the 57 mile marker, east of Columbia, KY, on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway. Vehicle owned by Scott Yokley of Scottsville, KY, Fire contained to interior of vehicle. There were 10 firemen on the scene for 30 minutes.
- MOTORCYCLE FIRE AT MT. ZION, Friday, May 15, 2009 around 10:30amCT, to a motorcycle fire at the Mt Zion Church off Hwy 704 to a motorcycle fire, upon arrival the cycle was completely involved by fire, was owned by Karen Dial. There were six firemen on the scene for around 15 minutes.
