Ruby Neat, Taylor Co., KY/Adair County, KY native (1921-2017)

Ruby was a homemaker and received much enjoyment from her family. She was a member of a large, influential Adair County, KY family, the daughter of the late Tom Dye and Sarah Grandstaff Dye, and the widow Finis Neat. She was the matriarch of a large family which includes 77 living children and grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. Her final resting place will be in Haven Hill Cemetery in Adair County, KY.

The funeral service for Ruby Neat will be at 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Harold Scholl. Burial will be in Adair County, in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be 3pm-7pmCT/4pm-8pmET, Friday November 10, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Ruby Neat of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Tom Dye and Sarah Grandstaff Dye, was born February 5, 1921 in Adair County, KY. She died Saturday, November 4, 2017 in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 96 years, eight months, and 30 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church.

Ruby was a homemaker and received much enjoyment from her family.

She united in marriage to Finis Neat October 25, 1936 and he preceded her in death February 14, 2001.
