He united in marriage to Geraldine Noe March 29, 1984.

Two step-grandchildren: Craig Drury, II and wife, Bobbie Jo and Brittany Drury of Lebanon, KY
Three step-great-grandchildren: Craig Drury, III and Karen Drury of Lebanon, KY; and Donovan Drury, who had lived with Darrell since birth and they shared a very special bond
