Denesa Burton Veatch, Taylor County/Adair Co., KY native (1963-2017)

She was a 1981 graduate of Adair County High School. She professed faith in Christ and attended Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. She was very crafty and even more so around the holidays, but her grandkids were her true passion. She was a member of a large, highly respected family, the daughter of the late Caleb Harlin Burton & Imogene Pendleton Burton. Her husband of 36 years, Bobby Veatch, survives. She leaves five direct living descendants.

Denesa Burton Veatch, 54, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 8:30amET, Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Campbellsville.

The funeral service will be at 9amCT/10amET, Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Market Street, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Steve Skaggs. Burial will be in New Market Cemetery, Marion County, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT, Friday, October 6, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Denesa Burton Veatch was the daughter of the late Caleb Harlin Burton & Imogene Pendleton Burton. She was born March 21, 1963, in Adair County, KY. She died at Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 54 years, six months, and 13 days.

She professed faith in Christ and attended Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. She was very crafty and even more so around the holidays, but her grandkids were her true passion.

Denesa united in marriage to Bobby Veatch May 1, 1981.

Besides her husband, Bobby Veatch of Campbellsville, she is survived by:
  • One son and one daughter: Blake Veatch and Whitney Veatch

  • Three grandchildren: Graeson Veatch, Kyndall Wood and Jax Veatch

  • One brother and one sister: Jimmy Burton and wife, Julie; and Donna Bryant and husband, Dickie of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Harlin Burton.
