Marie Freeman discovered this sizeable mushroom recently, shown here with gills and a hand for scale. Marie writes, "The fall time is so fruitful for fungus. Found this today. It's sometimes called 'Train Wrecker' because it can grow on chemically treated wood like railroad ties."
