Wildflowers of KY: Beautiful, but it's poisonous Cressleaf Groundsel

It stood out from a distance. Standing alone, it *'sang its own solo stanza of spring.' It looked from 50 yards away like an extra tall clump of field mustard. Up close the cluster looks more like miniature daisies or maybe coneflower. We're sure someone else knows exactly what it is. Just use the Comments button with the picture to let us know. PS: Nick Roy has confirmed that this plant is Cressleaf Groundsel, poisonous to cattle (2011-04-18). Comments | Permalink
