The Headley-Whitney Museum of Art, just outside Lexington, is named after its founder, George Headley III, and museum benefactors Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney and Marylou Whitney. The museum claims a fascinating and diverse permanent collection of fine and decorative arts, and hosts international and regional exhibitions. The museum's Spring 2025 Exhibition features over 150 works by Cincinnati-based American Modernist artist Charley Harper.
