She was a homemaker, born June 12, 1948 in Pike County, KY, to Ernest and Eunice Hunt Ramey. Her husband, Jimmie Ray Varney, survives along with many family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Jimmy Ray, and Edward Ramey.

Wanda Ramey Varney, 70, of Bowling Green (formerly of Russell Springs) died Monday, September 3, 2018 at her home in Bowling Green. Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Jamestown City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8pmCT Wednesday and after 12noonCT on Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Nick Gonzalez, Patrick Stiltner, Cecil Griffith, Kenny Hilbert, Dean Seneff and Jaxson Seneff.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Jimmy Ray, and Edward Ramey. Survivors are

• Four children: Carmen (Greg) Purpus, Bowling Green, Brian (Carol) Varney, Jamestown, Lynetta (Rick) Bowling Green, LaWanda (Mike) May, Bowling Green


• Ten grandchildren - Rochelle (Dean) Seneff, Cecil (Marissa) Griffith, Amanda (Kenny) Hilbert, Nicolas Gonzalez, Erica Gonzalez, Haylee Hazel, Patrick Stiltner, Katelyn Stiltner, Landon May and Lawson May


• Five great grandchildren


• Four sisters - Bessie Stanley, Rosalie Stump, Analee Langbauer, Tina Ramey


• One brother - Ted Ramey
