Christopher Ray Deweese, 38, Summer Shade, KY (1979-2018)

He was a tile setter in the construction industry. He was born in Franklin, KY, and was a resident of Louisville, KY, at the time of his death there. He lives one direct living descendant, his daughter, Christy Joe. His final resting place will be in Beaumont, Metcalfe County, KY.

Christopher Ray DeWeese, 38, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Bowling Green, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at University of Louisville Hospital.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 11amCT, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY. Burial will follow in the Beaumont Cemetery, Metcalfe County, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2018, 2pm-8pmCT, and on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 after 7amCT, until time of services at 11amCT.



Christopher Ray Deweese, 38, Summer Shade, KY (1979-2018)


Born April 19, 1979 in Franklin, Simpson County, KY he was the son of Diana Faye DeWeese Swindle (Chester Sexton), Adolphus, who survives, and the late Billy Alvin Lawrence. He died Wednesday January 31, 2018, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 38 years, nine months, and 12 days.

He was a tile setter in the construction industry.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by:
    One daughter: Christy Jo
  • One aunt: Pam DeWeese Lowe (Terry), Bowling Green, KY

  • One cousin: Tony Adams (Valerie) and family, Bowling Green, KY

  • One step brother: Jimmy Swindle (Ashley) and family, Adolphus, KY

  • One half brother: Jay Lawrence, Franklin, KY

  • And his life partner: Bobbi Jo Stansberry
He was preceded in death, besides his father, by his grandparents, J Harold DeWeese and Grace Norris Wright, Bowling Green, KY.
