Fannie England Hall, 91, Taylor County, KY (1926-2018)

She was member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Kroger in Campbellsville. She was the matriarch of a highly regarded family. She was the daughter of the late Ira England & Sular Janes England and the widow of Carl Hall, her husband of 52 years. She leaves seven direct living descendants.

Fannie England Hall, 91, of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ira England & Sular Janes England, died at 6:45pmCT, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in Mayfield, KY.

The funeral service will be at 10amCT/11amET, Friday, February 2, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jason England and Dr. James E. Jones. Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Fannie England Hall, 91, Taylor County, KY (1926-2018)


Fannie England Hall, was the daughter of the late Ira England & Sular Janes England. She was born May 28, 1926, in Taylor County, KY. She died at Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in Mayfield, Graves County, KY, at the age of 91 years, eight months, and two days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Fannie was a retired employee of Kroger in Campbellsville after many years of service.

She united in marriage to Carl Hall May 29, 1954 and he preceded her in death April 12, 2007.

She is survived by:
  • Two daughters: Terrie Hall of Campbellsville, KY; and Debbie Samples & husband, Kenny of Mayfield, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Ken Samples & wife, Samantha of Virginia Beach, VA; Grant Samples & wife, Katie, and Anna Samples all of Mayfield, KY

  • Two great-grandchildren: Connor Samples of Virginia Beach, VA; and Mason Samples of Mayfield, KY

  • One brother: Herbert England of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by a daughter in infancy, Julia Ann Hall; and five brothers and two sisters: Ira England, Jr., James England, Charles England, Raymond England, Truman England, Avis Bright and Mary Lollar.
