Reba F. Rodgers, 83, Adair Co., KY (1934-2017)

She was a native of Cumberland County, KY, and a resident of Adair County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Alvis & Josephine Johnson Stone, and the widow of Cassius Rodgers. She leaves one direct living descendant, a daughter, Debra Rodgers of Columbia, KY.

Reba F. Rodgers, 83, of Columbia, KY, died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 8:15amCT, at Signature Healthcare at Summit Manor, Columbia, KY.

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at the funeral home.



Reba F. Rodgers, 83, Adair Co., KY/Cumberland native (1934-2017)


She was born April 19, 1934, in Cumberland County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Alvis & Josephine Johnson Stone. She died Sunday, August 20, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 83 years, four months, and one day.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cassius Rodgers; three brothers, Kenneth, Keith and James Stone; and one sister, Allene Reigle.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Debra Rodgers of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Mike (Nancy) Stone of Brandenburg, KY

  • Two sisters: Louise Richey of Shepherdsville, Elizabeth Scott of Columbia

  • Several nieces, nephews and friends
