Shirley Ann Beams, age 73, of Campbellsville died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at her residence after an illness.
The funeral for Shirley will be on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1pmCT/2pmET, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in Beams Cemetery. Serving as casket bearers are Jason Milby, Andy Lenz, Cameron Dudley, Daniel Beams, Rodney Burton, Mickey Sapp, William Abrell and Rodney Lemon. The family requests visitation from 10amCT/11amET, until service time on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Shirley was born on June 12, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Essie Underwood Perkins. She died Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 73 years, eight months, and 24 days.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donnie Lee and Robert Earl Perkins; and a sister, Mildred Christine Perkins.
She had worked as a nurse prior to her retirement. She was of the Christian faith and at the time of her death, was a member of Grace Mission Church. She is survived by her husband, Earl E. Beams, and the following:
