Mrs. Zenith Wynez Despain, 75, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Zenith Wynez DeSpain will be conducted at 10amCT, Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Dale Curry officiating. Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, Sunday, July 10, 2016, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Monday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Wesley DeSpain, Jeremy DeSpain, Jacob DeSpain, Thomas DeSpain Dakota Smith, B.J. Farmer, Quindolyn Judd, Bethanne DeSpain.

Honorary Pallbearers: Troy Davis, Jeff Davis, Billy Cowan, Billy Berry, and Eli Milby.

Mrs. Zenith Wynez Despain of Greensburg, Green County, KY, was the daughter of the late Will Berry and Wealthy Patterson Berry Stearman. She was born on March 28, 1941 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY. She was 75 years, three months and 10 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was retired from the Dietary Department at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital after 20 plus years of service. Survived by her husband of 56 years, Sherfield Thomas DeSpain , of Greensburg, KY, having united in marriage on November 14, 1959.

Other survivors include:
  • Four sons and daughters-in-law: Doug and Tina DeSpain, Don and Teresa DeSpain, Timmy and Leah DeSpain, and Mikeal and Linda DeSpain all of Greensburg, KY

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • A brother and sisters-in-law: Thomas and Linda Berry of London, KY

  • A sister and brother-in-law: Brenda and Carl Beams of Greensburg, KY

  • A half-sister: Maxine Judd of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
