Knifley High School Graduates, 1950 - from Mike Watson

The March 15, 1950 Adair County News announced the names of twenty new graduates of Knifley High School. Chrystal Eastridge awarded highest honors for straight 'A' record.

"Graduating exercises for the twenty high school seniors of Knifley High School were held Thursday evening, March 9, in the High School auditorium.



The program honoring these graduates marked the end of a very successful school year, according to John Dunbar, principal. Total high school enrollment exceeded sixty. Besides Mr. Dunbar, the high school faculty is composed of Miss Reedie Tucker and Earl Myers.

"Those in the graduating class were:

Chrystal Eastridge, Maurice Mings, Joyce Grant, Marshall Goode, Maxine Allen, Ruby Hagy, Bernice Greer, Helen Greer, Hilda Rich, Mary Martin, Audrey Goode, Arlene Ferguson, Betty Jean Chelf, Iona Holcomb, Willey Simpson, Arthur Giles, Herman Enyard, Elva Giles, Mont Overstreet, Clarice Bailey."
