Our Angel left many heart-felt and loving memories behind before she spread her pearly white wings and joined her heavenly father. She was a generous spirit who helped any and all in need. She was a member of Deer Park Baptist Church and had the great blessing of helping all walks of life working in their nursery. She also cared for and soothed many children working for Mother's Day Out through the Highland Community Ministries and she was a caregiver to the elderly in their homes.

She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, sewing, as well as harvesting and tending to bountiful vegetable and flower gardens. Her most proud moments came from cherished time with family near and far. She will be dearly missed but we are thankful for all of the time we had with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Iva Stone, three siblings, Jack Stone, Bob Stone and Mabel McClister.

She is survived by
  • Her husband of 62 years, Lynwood Goff
  • Two daughters: Glenda Davis (C.R.), Carol Kohl (Donnie)
  • Five grandchildren: Lis Schwedler (Kyle), Nicole Walton (Emil), Lori Olea (Sebastian), Brittney Baxter (Les), and Blake Conn
  • Five great-grandchildren: Aiden Adams, Cameron Schwedler, Sofia and Alyssa Olea, and Laila Baxter
  • Two sisters: Louise Pelly (Clyde), Helen Burton (Sammy)
  • Two brothers: James Stone (Phyllis), and Ronnie Stone (Connie)
  • Many nieces and nephews
Betty's family would like to thank the caregivers at Heart Song and those that tended to her in her home for their compassion and care. She taught us to love and care for all and what it meant to volunteer your time. The family asks that in her memory you do one act of random kindness.
