Graveside service will be at 11amCT/12pm noon ET,, Friday, April 18, 2014 at Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery in Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jimmy York. Burial will be in Mt. Washington Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 9amCT/11amET, Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY.


Willard Nelson, Taylor County, KY (1935 - 2014)

Willard Nelson, was the son of the late Charlie Thomas Nelson and Laurie French Nelson Grimes. He was born in Marion County, Kentucky, Tuesday, April 16, 1935. He died Monday, April 14, 2014 in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 78 years, 11 months, and 28 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church.

He was a retired construction employee.

He is survived by the following:

• One son: Brian Nelson of Campbellsville, KY


• Two step-children: Patricia Lanham and Ollie R. Jones of Campbellsville, KY


• One grandson: Brandon Nelson of Campbellsville, KY


• One brother and two sisters: Woodrow Nelson and wife, Jean; Jean Bell and Mary Whitlock, all of Campbellsville, KY


• Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends

He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, Howard Thomas Nelson, Omer Lee Nelson, Charles Leonard Nelson, Stella Underwood and Elizabeth Burchett and one step-son, Danny Joe Jones January 31, 2003.
