Adolphus Ruel Andrew, 89, of Russell Springs, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Casey County Hospital in Liberty, KY.

Funeral service for Adolphus Ruel Andrew will be 1pmCT, Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Billy Silverman officiating. Friends may call after 11amCT, Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Burial in the Russell Springs City Cemetery.

Adolphus Ruel Andrew was born May 13, 1924 in Russell County, KY, the son of the late D. F. & Allie Spencer Andrew. He died Monday, December 2, 2013, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 89 years, 6 months, and 20 days.

He was a mechanic/tool & die maker, and was a Veteran of US Army serving in WWII

Survivors include the following:
  • Five children: Donnie Andrew, Newburgh, IN; David (JoRoss) Andrew, LaGrange, KY; Patricia Lowhorn, Debra (Steve) Grider, and Judy Morrison, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Scott (Jenny) Rose, Huntington, IN; Jodie (Chris) Brown, Treasure Island, Florida; Allie (Adam) Andrew, Jacksonville, Florida; Elliott Grider, Russell Springs, KY

  • Host of nieces and nephews also survive
