Dorothy Jean Otis was the daughter of the late Dorsey Martin and Meadie Linton Martin. She was born in Saxis, Accomack County, VA, Saturday, April 26, 1930. She died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 4 months, and 21 days.

She united in marriage to Charles Osmon Otis, who preceded her in death January 31, 2008.

She is survived by the following:

• Two daughters and two sons: Pansy Otis of Campbellsville, KY: Linda Olson of Trussville, AL; Martin Otis of Mesa, AZ; and Charles Robert Otis of Guston, KY


• Six grandchildren


• Two great-grandchildren


• Several nieces and nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Cremation was chosen.
