She was a member of a highly regarded south Adair County, KY family, with many family ties in Taylor and Adair Counties. She is survived by her husband, Delbert Leon Gadberry. Vivian Gadberry, 81, of Bell Avenue, died Thursday, January 18, 2013, at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab Center after an illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Gadberry were conducted at 12:30pmCT/1:30pmET, Monday, January 21, 2013, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel, 503 E. Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with burial in the McClister Cemetery, 4138 Fairplay Road, Columbia, KY, in the Fairplay Community of Adair County. Brother Eldon Rucker was the officiating clergy.
Pallbearers: Jerry Burbridge, Donnie Burbridge, Dennis Bailey, Danny Bailey, Madison Cox and Scotty Hoosier.
Vivian Gadberry, 81, Adair County, KY (1931-2013)
She was the daughter of the late Avin Adamson Bailey and Austin Jack Bailey. She was born Friday, June 12, 1931. She died January 17, 2013, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 7 months, and 5 days.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Parker and Jackie Bailey.
She was a member of Southside Christian Church. Mrs. Gadberry was a loving wife and mother and a friend to many.
She is survived by her husband, Delbert Leon Gadberry of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
One daughter and son in law: Sharon and Randall Bell of Campbellsville, KY
Two grandchildren, LaTasha Bell and Brooke Cox and husband Madison, KY
Three sisters: Inez Burbridge and Laura Hadley both of Columbia , KY; and Lois Garrett of Greensburg, KY
