Maxine Riddle age 80 of Columbia, KY formerly of Burkesville, KY passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 at 8:50 PM at the Medical Center of Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY after several months illness.

Funeral services will be Monday June 4, 2012 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY with Bro. Terry White and Bro. Raymond Martin the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Burkesville Cemetery, N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY. The family requests visitation after 4pmCT on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Maxine Riddle, was born Friday, June 12, 1931 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Millard and Maggie Lee McCoy Lollar. She died Friday, June 1, 2012, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 11 months, and 19 days.

Mrs. Riddle was preceded in death by her son: Kenneth Stewart Riddle on Sept 3, 1998 and her granddaughter, Saskia Riddle Nuszbaum on March 8, 2010.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years: Kenneth Isaac "K.I." Riddle of Columbia, KY and the following:

• One grandson: Stewart Riddle and wife Sheri of Lebanon, Tennessee


• Three great grandchildren:< Hannah Riddle, Jolene and McCoy Nuszbaum.

Mrs. Riddle was a member of the Columbia Christian Church and a retired bookkeeper for K I Riddle Inc. in Columbia, KY.

Memorials are suggested to the Columbia Christian Church or the Burkesville Cemetery Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
