Ellon Adams Fugate age 84 years of Columbia, KY passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011, at 5:04amCT, at her home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 10amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be be after 4:30pmCT Monday.

She was born on March 28, 1927 in Perry County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Patty Cody Adams. She died Saturday, December 31, 2011, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 84 years, 9 months, and 3 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry C. Fugate.

She is survived by the following:

• Six children: Deloris Chavers and husband Jean of Evergreen, AL. Pasty Leslie of Columbia, KY. Jerry C. Fugate, Jr. and wife Sara of Jefferson City, TN. Sheena Crowder and husband Fred of Lakeland, FL. Cash Fugate and wife Johanna of Summershade, KY. Casey Fugate and wife Elizabeth of Columbia, KY


• Seventeen grandchildren


• Twenty-five great grandchildren


• Three great great grandchildren


• Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survive

She was of the Christian faith and a homemaker.
