The funeral service Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 1:00pmCTat Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Steve Pescosolido officiating. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 11:00amCT.


David Michael Meyer, 72, Columbia, KY (1938-2011)

He was born on April 26, 1938 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of the late John Joseph and Mary Frances Jenkins Meyer. He died January 26, 2011, in Columbia, Adair Co., Ky, at the age of 72 years, and 9 months.

He is survived by the following:

• One sister: Mary M. Sharp of Columbia KY


• Three nephews: Nyal Pual McGowan, James Patrick McGowan andChristopher Allen McGowan


• And a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister John Jenkins Meyerand Elizabeth Ann Rountree.

He was a Chemical Engineer for an oil refinery company.
