Mary Margaret Brown, 72, 50 Fox Point RD, Jamestown, KY, died at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY, on Sunday, August 15, 2010.

The funeral service will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT on Wednesday, August 18, 2010, with Bro. Wayne Keith officiating. Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, KY. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 5pmCT, Tuesday, April 17, 2010.

Mary Margaret Brown was born May 13, 1938, in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY. She is the daughter of the late Hallie (Russell) Thurston and Robert Elmore. She died in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, on Sunday, August 15, 2010, at the age of 72 years, 3 months, and 2 days.

She was a homemaker.She is survived by the following:

• Two daughters: Phyllis Sullivan, Jamestown, KY, and Betty Rexroat, Russell Springs, KY


• One brother: Gene Elmore, Jamestown, KY


• Two grandchildren

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Arvis, Carlos, and Jim Elmore, and one sister, Ona Mae Elmore.
