She was a member of a highly regarded Russell Co., KY, family and was a member of White's Chapel Separate Baptist Church

Blanche Grider, 88, Hwy 1870, Russell Springs, KY, died Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Brother Richie Curtis and Bro. Michael Lee the officiating clergy. Burial will be in White's Chapel Cemetery.



Blanche Miller Grider, Russell Co., KY (1920-2010)

Blanche Miller Grider was the daughter of the late Maggie Dunbar Miller and Elmer Miller. She was born Sunday, May 8, 1921, in Russell Co., KY, and died Sunday, January 17, 2010, in Russell Co., KY, at the age of 88 years, 8 months, and 9 days.

She was the widow of the late Arthur Grider and was a homemaker. She was a member of White's Chapel Separate Baptist Church.

She is survived by the following:
  • Five sisters in law: Maxine Miller, Ruby Robertson, Olive Grider, and Ruby Grider, all of Russell Springs, KY; and Eva Grider, New Boston, TX

  • Four first cousins: Keith Dunbar, Sam Dunbar, Jean Popplewell, and Morris Dunbar

  • Nieces and nephews: Larry and Gloria Miller, Scott and Brenda Pierce, Dwight and Sherry Miller, Phillip Miller, Billy and Becky Robertson, J.D. and Denise Antle, and Jean Gosser
Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
