Obituary: Marsha Lee Jackson, 66, Louisville, KY

Mrs. Jackson was a native of Crocus in Russell Co., KY. She was a member of the Old Shepherdsville Road Christian Church in Louisville, KY

Marsha Lee Jackson, 66, Louisville, KY, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at 10:12am at Norton-Suburban Hospital, in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service will be Sunday, December 27, 2009, at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Joe McKee officiating. Visitation will be after 12 Noon CT at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holt Cemetery in Russell Co., KY.



Marsha Lee Jackson, native of Crocus, Russell Co., KY (1943)

She was born May 8, 1943, a daughter of the late Will and Rachel Holt Bradshaw of Crocus in Russell Co., KY, and died in Louisville, KY, on December 22, 2009, at the age of 66 years, 7 months, and 14 days.

She was a member of the Old Shepherdsville Road Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, James Jackson, Jr., of Louisville, KY, and the following:
  • Two sisters: Ramona Smith, and Winnie and husband Samuel Jackson, all of Louisville, KY

  • Two brothers: Thomas Bradshaw, Louisville, KY; and Marlon and wife Earlene Bradshaw of Jamestown, KY

  • A special nephew: Kevin Bradshaw and several other nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: her twin, Marcelene McKee, and Mattie Sue Bradshaw.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
