Martha Ann Roy, 88, Casey County, KY

Martha Ann Roy, of Dunnville, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Russell County Hospital. She was 88.

Born on June 16, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Charles Meece and Ora Lee Fox Meece. Martha was a homemaker and enjoyed babysitting. She loved yard sales, flea markets, and going to car shows. Martha attended Dunnville Christian Church for many years and enjoyed helping at the church.

She is survived by one son, Freddie (and Donna) Roy of Dunnville; a granddaughter, Heather Roy of Dunnville; three sisters, Leslie Meece of Dunnville, Rosie Roy of Dunnville, and Alesheia Meece of Louisville; and three brothers, Michael Meece of Dunnville, Steve Meece of Liberty, and Dwight "DD" Meece of Adair County.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Roy; a sister, Jackie Malone; and a brother, Melvin Meece.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 2pmET at Thomas Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Phillip Patton officiating.

Memorial contributions are requested to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family in offsetting funeral expenses.
