Allene Hardwick of Columbia died on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 3:09 A.M. at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was 95 years old.
The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. William Davenport and Rev. Pat Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is requested after 5pmCT on Saturday.
She was born August 27, 1930, in Adair County, to the late William "Bill" and Mabel Loy Rowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Hardwick and the following siblings; Lilliam Grimmer, Jo Marie Rowe, Glenn "Dude" Rowe, Robert "Shaw" Rowe, Elroy "Buck" Rowe, Elva Rowe and Floyd Rowe.
She attended Old Concord Church, formerly worked at Union Underwear and she and her husband owned and operated several Restaurants in Columbia years ago. She taught Sunday School at Trinity United Methodist Church for 50 years.

- One sister - Christine Hickerson of Chicago, Illinois
- One brother - Leon Rowe of Columbia
- Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
