Visitation is requested from 3pmCT to 6pmCT on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with a Celebration of Life to follow. The family is honoring Penny's wish to be cremated after the service.
She was born October 3, 1957, in Muncie, Indiana, to the late Mitchell and Irene Goodman Bell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, William and Dakota and one brother, Mickey Bell. Penny was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church in Monticello and a homemaker.

- Three daughters - Brandy Baker Young of Russell Springs, Jessica DeMott (Terry Long) of Elk Horn, and Jennifer Demott (Joseph Bauer) of Richmond
- One brother - Ricky Bell of Somerset
- She was Nana Head to seven grandchildren - Shawn, Chad, Hunter, Emily, Blake, Eli and Tate and six great-grandchildren, and was expecting two great-grandchildren very soon
