Margie Burton Stigall, 91, Adair Co., KY native (1931-2022)

Margie Burton Stigall of Campbellsville passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 91 years old.

The funeral will be held at 2pmET on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Auberry Funeral Home, 503 East Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Cemetery

Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville.


Margie Burton Stigall, daughter of the late John Raymond Miller and Emma Dykes Miller, was born April 26th, 1931, in Adair County.

She professed her faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple. Margie loved to read, listen to country music, and loved spending time with her family.

She united in marriage to Kile Burton, and he preceded her in death February 2013.

Margie is survived by:
  • Six daughters: Evelyn Neat and husband Elba of Elkhorn; Loretta Moss of Campbellsville; Marilyn Rodgers and husband Don of Casey County; Jeanie Mann and husband David of Albany; Suzanne MeJean and husband David of Campbellsville and Anita Goff and husband Barney of Campbellsville.
  • Four sons: Charles Burton of Columbia; Dwight Burton and wife Mary of Columbia; Bradley Joe Burton and wife Anita of Campbellsville and Roger Burton of Campbellsville.
  • Several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
  • One sister, Pauline Bolton of Bloomington, IN.
