Condy Lee Young, 78, Columbia, KY (1943-2022)
Condy Lee Young of Columbia passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Russell County Hospital Emergency Room. He was 78 years old.
The funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Stan Milby and Bro. Danny Withers officiating. Burial will follow in Columbia Cemetery.
Visitation is requested after 4pmCT on Sunday. Masonic rites will be conducted by Hood Lodge #839 at 7pmCT on Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born May 9, 1943, in Adair County to the late Norman Kenneth "Rattler" and Eliza McKinley Young. He was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, a member of Hood Lodge # 839 for over 50 years, retired from the Kentucky Highway Department after 35 years and a lifelong farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lynn Young and two brothers, Kenneth Reed Young and Gene Allen Young.
