Jewell Darlene Huddleston, 92, Adair Co., KY (1929-2022)

Jewell Darlene (Blair) Huddleston of Glensfork passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was 92 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 3pmCT on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Raymond Atwood officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11amCT on Thursday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.


She was born on April 16, 1929 in Columbia, KY to the late Thomas Elva and Lula Bunch Blair. She was preceded in death by her husband William Edward Huddleston.

Mrs. Huddleston was a member of the Beech Grove Separate Baptist Church and a former Rural Mail Carrier in Adair County.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four siblings William Blair, Emogene Franklin, Yvonne Franklin and Mary Stephens.

Pallbearers will be Raydin Corbin, Tony Franklin, Josh Franklin, Anthony Franklin, James Furkin and David Franklin.
